Using it in chemical water or for any other heating applications would likely damage the heater. The product features an IPX8 design and is non-detachable; disassembling it will result in damage. For safety and optimal function, the heater must be completely submerged in water. Be aware that fish tank temperature can be significantly influenced by room temperature, which may lead to inaccuracies; typically, expect a variation of ±3℉. For better efficiency, employ the heater in a circulating water setup; stagnant water can cause uneven temperatures, affecting heater performance.

Maintenance Recommendations:
